Meet the luckiest, most blessed couple I know this year.

It was just a passing storm, I thought. But I was wrong. Flash flooding and sheets of horizontal rain meant our planned Informals weren’t meant to be. Still it was the most beautiful ceremony and the church was gorgeous. And a little rain didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of the bridal party or wedding guests. It was a great time… Thank you Chris and Shannon, for having us along!

Here’s a teaser of some of the images from the day. We ran the gamut from classic stylings to… well, just you wait. You’ll see what craziness Mike cooked up with hilarious results, in the Photo Booth in my next blog post for this wedding.

I brought Ed Z along (sorry again about the shoes, Ed) and we started at Shannon and Chris’ home. They have two dogs (one of which owes me dinner for the whole ear licking thing) who just made us laugh. And then laugh some more. Later we went off to Valley Green and walked (and walked some more) and scrambled up rocks (and down) and only some of us were in shoes that were meant for such silliness. Good times.

I still want to know where the really cool stairs are, though.
