This family was awesome. Too seldom do I get to actually include dad in the family sessions I do for OpLove. This is one of those wonderful exceptions. We were able to get into the base and enter the area where they train mechanics to repair transport vehicles of all types. There were Humvees of various degrees of disrepair, waiting for the next day when trainees would come and disassemble and reassemble them. I took Gary Caunitus along as my assistant for this one, as I knew we’d have some lighting tricks to pull off. He’s 6’4″ and the best voice activated light stand ever. Seriously, thanks, Gary.

This family was so much fun. Although the pictures I selected to highlight here have a bit more of a serious connotation to them, the entire day was not so. Gotta love a mom who teaches her son how to do a WWF headlock (with sound effects). I even learned a thing or two from her. I’ll apologize in advance to my husband if I feel the urge to practice some.

Without further adieu…

Loved these photos of my brother’s family. The one of the two boys in Army garb is priceless and I must have a copy. Don, you would do well portraying an old lady in a movie. Shall I get you your own scarf?

Beautifully captured. Each of these shine with their own aura. As a viewer I can honestly say I connect with each image. That is a tough feat to accomplish. Great job!
