Many of you know that I am in the process of moving my office. I’m not moving far, but the new space needed (still working on this, actually) some redecorating. I started with spackling and paint. Red paint to be exact. Anyway, my wonderful husband really wanted to be a part of this new and exciting part of my life. He said it was important to him. I wasn’t really sure what he could do to help (he’s no longer allowed to paint anything, through, very mutual discovery and agreement. So I gave it some thought. He came home from work and I called up the stairs to him that I could use his help moving things around a bit. You know, when he had a minute. He didn’t miss a beat.
“OK, I’ll go put on my chaps and tool belt and be right down.”
I was still laughing when he popped around the corner with a big grin on his face. Thankfully we don’t own chaps that fit him, but I’m still chuckling at the quickness of his wit and yes, the visual. Love does funny things to people. Silly, funny things.
